The Summit Readiness Screener is a brief, 8 to 10-minute kindergarten readiness screener developed by Summit Education Initiative based of the 16 for Success Skills.
A traditional approach, enhanced by technology
Traditional readiness screeners give trained professionals the chance to sit down one-on-one with a student. We kept the Summit Readiness Screener personal but enhanced the process with technology. As the screener conducts the assessment with a student, all the scoring is completed in real-time through our secure, web-based application. Screeners can use traditional computers, laptops, tablets and even smartphones to enter marks for each assessment item. Results are automatically saved for review, reporting and sharing with families, other colleagues and educational leaders.
